Melissa

My name is Melissa, I’m 15 years old and I live in Monterrey, Mexico. I’m currently a high school student, but throughout my life, I met so many people that affected me. Most of them in a positive way and my life right now is confusing but good. What I mean is that I’m not used to being with different people. I was always that girl that hung out with the people they’ve known since they were little, and if they met more people I knew them too, but now it’s not like that. I feel more independent, like if I could be friends with whoever I want, and I like that, it’s like if I was freer but at the same time I’m not used to that, and it’s somewhat scary, but until now I’m really happy that I have the chance to meet new people, and that is also one of my favorite hobbies; sharing with other people in the way of singing, acting or even painting or writing a song.  I like these hobbies because I can share them with others. For example, I can sing or write a song about my life that you can relate to, and that is maybe one of the reasons my team and I created this blog, to share with you not only songs but different things we should discuss more often in our society like personal development. We hope to change the way society may see this into a more happy and positive way, maybe into something different and better, and to share things and thoughts we usually do not.

Roby

Hi! I’m Roby Gudiño, just an average 15-year-old girl who hopes to make a difference in the world through this blog. I’m currently a sophomore in high school living in Monterrey, Mexico. I really like to work out, eat healthily, read endless amounts of self-help books, and hang out with my friends. I had a very happy childhood surrounded by the people I loved while being clueless about the world past my bubble. This all changed some time ago. I was happily vacationing at the beach, driving down the street in my mom’s car when I saw a woman at the gas station. This woman was filling her water bottles with the water hose meant for the cars in order for her to have water in her home. It honestly broke my heart, and since that day, I swore to myself to make the world a better and happier place in any way I could. Though this blog may not seem like much, I hope to influence more people my age to seize their opportunities, be grateful, and live a happier life overall.

María

My name is María Guadalupe Mier y Terán Garza, I‘m 16 years old, I am a student of 10th grade in the Prepa Anahuac in Monterrey. I live in San Pedro, Monterrey, and when I was 3 years old, my biological parents left me alone in Mexico City, and when I was 4 years old I moved to Monterrey. I was put in an orphanage called Filios. At the age of 10,  my mom and dad adopted me and now I live with them, at that time I studied in the Liceo of Monterrey and I had to take extras classes to be able to speak English because many of my classes were in English. In my opinion, what helped me to be who I’m now was the moment when my family adopted me. I learned to be grateful for what I have and to always give my best.
